Finsea Group to manage the logistics for the construction of the Ocean Race village in Genoa in cooperation with Laviosa Maritime

The Ocean Race, the fully-crewed around-the-world sailing race, will start on 15 January from Alicante and for the first time in history will arrive in the Mediterranean Sea, in Genoa, Italy. Hosting “The Grand Finale”, Genoa will become the world capital of sailing. The arrival of the most extraordinary around-the-world race will be a great opportunity for promoting the city but also a reason for celebration with many events in the “Ocean Live Park” village that will be set up along the new Levante Waterfront.

Gac Pindar, the international forwarding agent that assists the organisation of the Ocean Race, has entrusted the management of all logistic services linked to the construction of the village to a consortium made up of the Finsea Group and Laviosa Maritime of Livorno.
